Portrait Drawing @ Sunflower
Relax and get creative in the wonderful atmosphere of the Sunflower Pub! This 2 hour workshop will introduce you to the basics of portrait drawing, using pencil, pen or charcoal!
We’ll look at using the grid method to create a base sketch and explore different shading and markmaking techniques to add tone and texture to your drawing! You’ll have the chance to experiment with pencil, pen and charcoal to see which works best for you, before starting on your final piece.
Imagery will be provided but you can bring your own photograph to work from. Just have it printed out on A4 paper (or smaller) if you want to use the grid method!
