Line and Wash Painting

Relax and get creative in the wonderful atmosphere of the Boundary Taproom! This 3 hour workshop will introduce you to the wonderful possibilities of line and wash painting, a versatile technique that, as the name suggests, combines line drawing in pen with a wash of colour, with fantastic results!
We’ll explore different mark making techniques that can be used to build up texture and tone in your sketch, and look at how to use watercolour paint to add expressive washes or accents of colour to compliment your drawing. You’ll be encouraged to have a playful and experimental approach to drawing and painting, and will have the chance to test out different techniques before completing your very own line and wash painting.
Suitable for all levels of experience.
