Relax and have fun in this online class that will introduce you watercolour painting in the style of Henri-Edmond Cross.
You will be guided through a range of warm up exercises looking at colour and markmaking with paint, before moving on to a longer study that you can follow along step by step. You will be encouraged to have a playful and experimental approach to painting, exploring a range of methods and techniques and creating your own Henri-Edmond Cross inspired painting!
No experience needed!
Ages 16+
You will need:
- x1 sheet Watercolour Paper
- x1 sheet watercolour OR heavyweight cartridge paper (for warm up studies)
-Watercolour paints (and jars of water)
-Round paintbrush(es)
-Pencil
-Sharpener
-Eraser
