Drawing and Painting Online Course
New 6 week blocks begin Thursday 14th September 2023
2 session times available: 10-12am BST via Zoom
7-9pm BST via Zoom
Relax and have fun in this 6-week online class that will introduce you to the basics of drawing and painting!
Each week will focus on a different theme, technique or medium and participants will be guided through a range of warm up exercises before moving on to a longer study that you can follow along step by step, with time for individual feedback. Classes will be recorded and sent to all participants so you can continue their creative journey at home!
You will be encouraged to have a playful and experimental approach to drawing and painting, exploring a range of methods and techniques and developing the one that works best for you!
No experience needed!
Ages 16+
Never tried an online art class? You can book the first week only to get a feel for the sessions without committing to the block!
Bespoke art kits with all the materials and equipment you need can be purchased with the course for an additional £35. These are availble until 23.08.23 to allow for assembly and delivery time.
If you don’t wish to purchase a kit you will need:
-Graphite Pencils (a range between HB-9B is ideal but not essential)
-Eraser
-Sharpener
-Blending Stump (optional)
-Fineliner (waterproof if possible)
-Watercolour paints
-Paintbrushes (one flat and 2-3 round in a range of sizes from 4-14)
-x6 sheets A4 drawing paper
-x6 sheets A4 watercolour paper OR
x3 sheets heavyweight cartridge paper + x3 sheets watercolour paper
